Water purification drops are the water purifications solution or WPS based on pure chlorine dioxide available in an economical two-part kit or as Chlorine Dioxide Solution also known as CDS 3000 PPM.

Chlorine Dioxide Sanitizer
Since the early 1900s, chlorine dioxide has been used as the most reliable and effective biocide and sanitizing agent killing all known toxins on surface materials. As such, it is used in all food and beverage processing to make food safe to eat and beverages safe to drink.

The process is quite simple, just add three drops of Part 1 to three drops of Part 2 into in a clean dry glass, swirl the drops together and allow them to activate for 30 seconds, then mix in to a quart of water to be made safe for drinking water.
That is the preferred method of using chlorine dioxide for purifying water for drinking in the field. Alternatively, you could use a more pure CDS 3000 PPM.
CDS 3000 PPM
Chlorine Dioxide Solution (CDS) is available pre-made via distillation process for an even more pure chlorine dioxide solution activated WPS water purification solution drops. Unlike the two-part mixture this particular chlorine dioxide formulation known as CDS 3000 PPM is distilled which According to Paris Humbe, “CDS 3000 is created by infusing the pure or distilled water with the gas that comes from the activated drops of chlorine dioxide.”
This results in 3,000 parts per million concentrations, ‘ere the 3000 PPM indication in the name of the product.
Furthermore, while CDS 3000 is more highly concentrated and reportedly tastes better, it is not as powerful as the two-part method made on demand and used more commonly in the field. According to Paris Humble, “The MMS to CDS conversion (if you’ve followed my father, Jim Humble’s work) is 1 to 8.”
To do a direct comparison to the one-quart treatment referenced above, the two-part method called for 3 activated drops (3 drops Part 1 + 3 drops Part 2 = 3 activated drops). Using CDS 3000, you would need 8-times the volume or 24 drops of CDS 3000 to treat one quart of water for safe drinking.
Municipal Water Treatment
Chlorine dioxide is commonly used in municipal water treatment and distribution facilities due to its superior performance over chlorine. 2 ½ times more powerful than chlorine, chlorine dioxide kills all waterborne pathogens, anti-life bacteria, viruses, and cysts found in water, including hard to kill parasites, like Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium parvum.

Unknown or Questionable Water Sources
If you are in a restaurant and you have reason to question the source of the water in your water glass, you can order an empty clean, dry glass, put in a drop or two of Part 1 and Part 2, allow them to activate for 30 seconds, then pour the original glass of water into the glass with the activated drops inside. Then after waiting for a minute, you can safely drink the water.
This might be a concern in town, but especially when going out or town, visiting another state, or traveling abroad. NACS water purification drops are available in a Travel Pack approved for interstate and international air travel.
Chlorine dioxide is extremely valuable when traveling, especially if your itinerary includes hiking and you may need local, possibly even freestanding or compromised water sources.
