Chlorine Dioxide Bath and Foot Bath Detox

By Paris Humble

You may or may not already be a regular user of chlorine dioxide as your daily water treatment regimen. Nonetheless, you can expand your efforts to detox and enjoy other benefits that come from soaking in chlorine dioxide solutions.

Chlorine dioxide baths and foot baths are excellent methods for enhancing one’s healthy lifestyle.

Bathing in Chlorine Dioxide

Assuming you are using the most economical version of chlorine dioxide, the two-part kit, that is commonly available as water purification drops over the counter, add 20 activated drops of Part 1 and Part 2 to your bathwater.

To activate drops, put 20 drops of Part 1 into a clean dry glass, then add 20 drops of Part 2. In 30 seconds, the drops will be activated, and they will have changed color from clear or colorless to a yellow/brownish color. Add these activated 20 drops to your bathwater and soak in the bathwater.

The next time you bathe in chlorine dioxide increase the number of drops to 40 of Part 1 and 40 of Part 2 making certain that you activated them in a clean dry glass for 30 seconds before adding them to the bathwater. You will increase the number of activated drops to 60 on the third bath, which is the recommended number of drops for chlorine dioxide bathing.

If you have clean water to fill the bathtub, fill it with six to twelve inches of water in depth. In the event that you have chemically treated municipal water, especially if it is chlorinated, use purified water instead of tap water.

The warmer the water is, the better, but make sure it’s not too hot. Soak in the chlorine dioxide bath for 20 minutes or more.

Take at least one chlorine dioxide bath per day, increasing the number of drops by each consecutive bath. Commit to taking three consecutive baths, either three baths in one day or one a day over three days.

Your body will tell you what you need to do. If you are feeling increasingly better following your chlorine dioxide bath, do it again, and keep bathing in chlorine dioxide until it no longer appears to offer you increased vitality.

Likewise, if your body is reacting to the chlorine dioxide negatively, like a burning sensation, get out of the tub and rinse your body thoroughly. Draw a new bath at one-half the dose and try again. When you get to a concentration that is tolerable, increase the number of activated drops over time until you get to the higher concentration.

Make sure the tub is clean and free of anything that is not bathwater. No soaps, perfumes, other contaminants, or children’s toys.

Use a plastic tub, not metal, for chlorine dioxide foot soak.

Chlorine Dioxide Foot Bath

Use a small plastic tub that comfortably fits both feet submerged in very warm water up to your ankles.

Mix 20 activated drops of chlorine dioxide water purification drops (20 drops of Part 1 + 20 drops of Part 2 mixed and allowed to activate for 30 seconds). You may increase the number of activated drops over time until you reach 40 or more (60 maximum) if you are experiencing positive results.

As with the chlorine dioxide bath, double the drops in the foot soak until you reach 40 drops or more, backing off by switching to one-half the drops, then increasing more slowly, as may be necessary.

Soak your feet for 20 minutes or more.

You can soak your feet up to three times a day. Do it as often and as long as you achieve noticeable results. If you level off or reach a plateau of a healthful state, you can curtail your use, until you need it again later.

Allow leftover chlorine dioxide bathwater or footbath water to set until visibly clear. This will indicate that the chlorine dioxide has evaporated, and it can be safely drained or flushed. This is only a concern if you have a septic system, and does not apply to municipal sewer systems.

Effective soak time: Chlorine dioxide strength weakens as it is used. You may continue to soak after 30 minutes with decreased efficacy. If you intend to soak longer, additional activated drops may be added after 30 minutes.

Highly sensitive persons: Avoid breathing in the steam from a hot chlorine dioxide footbath for extended periods of time as it may cause shortness of breath in sensitive individuals.

If sensitive feet turn red from repeated or prolonged soaking, you could activate Part 1 drops with the same number of drops of vinegar instead of Part 2.

Note: The size of the tub or hope much water is in it doesn’t matter. The activated chlorine dioxide will reach the skin. To increase penetration through the skin of the feet, you could add DMSO to the water as well.

Cautions: Do not use metal containers, only plastic for footbaths.

Then slowly increase the number of drops until you get to the target number of drops.

The maximum number of drops is not necessary if you are achieving noticeable results at a lower number of drops.

Continue until you are fully healthfully recovered.

You actually think someone is going to buy “Purified” water to take a bath in?
Every city uses chlorine, even if they don’t have flouride. What is the consequence of taking a Chlorine Dioxide bath in water with Chlorine in it?
How could I tell the difference?
